 The
Irish Federation of Master Tradesmen and The Irish Payroll Association
(IPASS) have teamed together to bring federation members discounted
rates on the IPASS 1 Day Tax Training courses which are being
run at various venues throughout the country.
The IPASS courses are aimed primarily at
the people who have to operate these taxes and they are presented in a
very practical and down to earth manner. A comprehensive handout is
provided for each course and a 30 day follow up telephone support
service is provided to people who attend any course.
The next series of 1 day courses are "VAT
and the Construction Industry" and "Understanding the Subcontractors
Regulations - (Relevant Contracts Tax)" will be run in June and July.

Given that Revenue have stated that 25% of
all Revenue audits in 2006 will be in the Construction Industry and that
VAT and Subcontractors Tax are the two areas giving rise to most
problems encountered on Revenue audits, these courses are highly
recommended. The courses are presented by two tax consultants who are
former Revenue auditors and their expertise on these taxes is second to
none.
